- ok, I'm a bit new to this, and cant use this info right off, but....
-
- I recall a simplie persons instalation document for 0.0 that gave a
- quick step by step instruction on how to transfer the bin.* files to
- the main partition. It involved rawrite and was quick and simple.
- Now that the files sizes have changed I'm not sure how to do this,
- and I have been unable to find any instructions on it. All I got from
- the docs is that there appears to be a mcopy command that handles MSDOS
- disks. If I'm wrong can someone clue me in as to how to do this?
- (I'm trying to learn a bit about BSD in general, and have access to a
- 4.3 Reno system here, but cant do much until I get the fs over t0 the drive.)
-
-
- NOW FOR THE HARD PART:
-
- It appears that my SCSI controler is not supported. I have
- to play with it a bit yet, but that may mean losing DOS entirely.
- (Not realy a great loss, but I would like to keep 20 Meg got it.)
- Anyone got a spare BSD compatable? :) Or a patch method? The odd
- part is that the controler is a SCSI/FDD controller, and the floppies
- work fine (dist.fs boots great, but reports no HD).
-
- Also, is there anyone out there whos gotten a WD8003WT to work?
- (My SCSI controler wont boot with the card installed under DOS. That
- ring any bells for anyone?)
-
- 386BSD crew (and supporters): Awesome job guys (and gals)! I'll be
- contributing as soon as I can (of course thats been since 0.0, but I'm
- a poor student... It'll get there).
