  19. it all, and I think I got the gist of it:

  21. The driver supplied with 386BSD-0.1 uses opcodes that have no support
  22. in the older boards, namely opcodes 3 & 4, << scatter/gather read/write
  23. with retun of residual length >>.

  25. Mr.Haug also ventilated some worries in that direction. I have put up
  26. the problem in comp.periphs.scsi, and asked if we hapless owners of
  27. 1542A adapters can get a rom upgrade...

  29. In the meantime David Eyre is trying to mail me an updated boot disk.
  30. (We have no public ftp places, any of us). If there are more people
  31. needing a modified Tiny, I will try to put it onto one of the offical
  32. servers (tell me the correct one, so it will spred itself nicely).
