- The IIfx, Q700, Q900 and Q950 all used I/O Processors (iops) to offload
- the CPU from basic i/o, such as serial communication and ADB support.
- The IIfx has SCSI DMA capability but the Quadras don't. The Quadras, however,
- have much faster throughput (~3 MB/s) than the IIfx (~1.2 MB/s) or even the
- IIci (~1.8 MB/s)
