- There is one very obvious upgrade - to a IIfx. This is very economical
- nowadays. If you upgrade to a IIfx and add a rack of 4 Mb SIMMs you will
- have a much faster machine. The IIfx upgrade is a board swap, the IIx
- motherboard is replaced with the IIfx version, and the old one goes back
- to Apple. You do this through your local vendor. Mac IIfx SIMMs are
- available from many sources, e.g. Chip Merchant.
