  12. After I got a new 200MB HD for MacOS, I discovered that it wouldn't mount
  13. under A/UX 2.0.1 (I ordered 3.0 months ago ...). Instead, the following
  14. error message appears on startup/logout from command shell:

  16. Disk write c0d0s30 Error: Illegal request, code = 0x1A
  17. generic disk c0d0s30 Fatal Error: Logical block 0, physical block 0

  19. The disk works perfectly under MacOS and Silverlining (5.31) verifies it
  20. as 100% OK. According to SCSIProbe 3.4, the disk's version is 4.03.

  22. What do I have to do (different driver, fooling with partitions ...) to get
  23. it to mount under A/UX? The disk contains only a single HFS partitions, so the
  24. multiple partition mount problem couldn't occur. Or should I wait for 3.0 before
  25. investing time in making it work under 2.0.1? Any help is appreciated!!
