- After I got a new 200MB HD for MacOS, I discovered that it wouldn't mount
- under A/UX 2.0.1 (I ordered 3.0 months ago ...). Instead, the following
- error message appears on startup/logout from command shell:
-
- Disk write c0d0s30 Error: Illegal request, code = 0x1A
- generic disk c0d0s30 Fatal Error: Logical block 0, physical block 0
-
- The disk works perfectly under MacOS and Silverlining (5.31) verifies it
- as 100% OK. According to SCSIProbe 3.4, the disk's version is 4.03.
-
- What do I have to do (different driver, fooling with partitions ...) to get
- it to mount under A/UX? The disk contains only a single HFS partitions, so the
- multiple partition mount problem couldn't occur. Or should I wait for 3.0 before
- investing time in making it work under 2.0.1? Any help is appreciated!!
-
- Thanks in advance,
