  22. You will see a perceptable performance boost if you do a 'newfs' on
  23. a partition to create the file system rather than having HD Setup create
  24. on for you (assuming you give 'newfs' a correct disktab entry).

  26. Milage may vary, but my experience (with a 330MB WrenRunner and a
  27. 520MB Fujitsu) shows about a 10% gain (in throughput).
