- Could someone outline the contents of the Amiga UNIX package. I'd like
- to know what kind of hardware it supports, what software is included,
- and maybe a few details of how SysV.4 compares to something like SunOS
- (things like sockets, job control and filename length limits
- (<14chars?), for example). How much source code is included? What's
- your typical page and swap space? Anything that might constitute
- useful information on deciding whether this is for me.
-
- As may be clear now, I am decidedly naive about this (having had only
- a few years of experience with Sun machines and the Cray version of
- UNIX) and any helpful information would be appreciated.
-
- If you have the stamina to write extensively on these subjects, please
- send e-mail.
-
- Thanks in adavnce for any and all help.
