- I'm afraid that I do not understand this. We use both RISC System/6000s and
- PS/2s running AIX-PS/2. We get better (admittedly, not the best) support
- for the RISC machines than we do for the PS/2s. Also, the performance of the
- RISCs is vastly superior to the PS/2s (and even to our AIX/370 system). The
- 32H models are very nice and quite fast. If this person has the funds to
- go to a RISC, why shouldn't they?? If they were intent on staying with a
- PS/2, a mod 95 would give a nice boost in performance over a 20MHz '386
- machine.
