- We just had the fright of our lives down here. We cannot
- read our backup tapes with the restore -xvf/dev/rmt0 etc..
- command. Since we just upgraded to 3.2.0 (it finnnnnnnnaly
- arrived) some of our programs were gone, which we expected.
- The help line told use to use the following command
-
- dd if=/dev/rmt0 bs=51200 | restore -xdvf- directory
-
- He could not give me an answer to the question WHY?
- it worked. Can anybody shed some light on this
- We were using 3.1.8 before the upgrade.
