- Rather than try the home-run approach of booting from the server try the
- ping test from the built in menus (this is only valid on models 340,350,220).
- This will give you confidence that you actually can communicate with the
- server before attempting to boot from it.

- Note: There is a bug with the built in ping test. If it fails initially due to a problem on
- the net, such as not plugged into the wall, it will continue to fail even after plugging
- the cable in. A quick reboot will cause it to run the test correctly again. In other words,
- once the ping test fails it will continue to fail until the machine is rebooted.
