  14. I managed to rescue the data from disk to tape (tar'ed) thanks to
  15. various hints from many of you.
  16. Unfortunately, the GETROOTFS script which I used (3.2) wiped the
  17. AIX 3.1.x mount and umount commands out.
  18.  
  19. To be successfull, I HAVE TO HAVE these files!
  20. Could s/o out there mail it to me or put it in FTP somewhere???

  22. Who out there knows if bosboot creates boot image from RUNNING kernel??
  23. can I specify the 3.1.x kernel residing on the hdisk0???
