  40. We've seen this since 3.1.3 days and still see it at 3.1.7 and 3.2.1. It isn't
  41. any one user or pts, sometimes you will log onto a machine and "w" will give
  42. you only a header and no output -- no one is logged on. Right.

  44. All these levels of AIX also display ghosts, users who used to be on but are
  45. not any longer. Supposedly a problem with the utmp file.
