- Um, you did set up the "special userid" netinst and installed the files
- it needs to run, as described in the chapter "How to install over a Network,"
- in the Installation Guide, right? And uncommented the line
- instsrv 1234/tcp
- in /etc/services? and uncommented the line in /etc/inetd.conf:
- instsrv stream tcp nowait netnist /u/netinst/bin/instsrv instsrv -r \
- /tmp/netinstallog /u/netinst/scripts

- There's also a document G042806, "DSSC Flash 9061: Installation overview and
- tips for AIX V3.1 on the Rist System/6000" which, while now dated, might help
- you set up the server end. Your IBM rep should be able to get both of these
- documents if you don't have them.
