- i was given (with much appreciation) a gcc binary
- for 3.2. compilation works fine but ld can't seem
- to find gnulib. I get the following message:
-
- 0706-005 ld: Cannot find file: gnulib
- Check path name and permissions or
- use local problem reporting procedures.
-
- I tried the -L and -l options; I set LDPATH to
- where gnulib lives. This didn't help.
-
- ld could find gnulib if gnulib is in the same
- directory that i am compiling in.
-
- does ld in AIX require some addition setup? help!
-
- thanks!
