  12. Hello there ppl...
  13. I have faced a very strange problem in installing a rs6k 320 box to 3.2
  14. My console behaved normal for all the installation of the bos. After
  15. that i got the message saying remove tape from /dev/rmt0 turn key to normal
  16. and press enter to reboot. I did all this. Machine booted normally
  17. but after i got the message Multi-user initialization complete
  18. the console was dead. I changed a lot of terminals but i could not communicate
  19. with the machine. After that i booted from floppies and added a terminal
  20. in order to login to the machine. I got a flashing 888 as i was adding
  21. the second terminal . I rebooted the machine and the terminal was added.
  22. Since today the console displays messages only at boot-time until
  23. the message Multi-user initialization complete is displayed. This seems
  24. to me like a hardware error but i cannot figure out what it can be.
  25. Can anyone help ?
