  14. I kept getting empty mail from a user to the address "News"; after the
  15. third time, I finally asked him why.  He said he never sent mail to me.

  17. It turns out amidst other typos, he'd typed "*" by itself
  18. occasionally; the wildcard matched to `Mail News' (two subdirectories,
  19. the only two things in his home directory).  He'd been using ^D to get
  20. out of it.
