- The man page for resolv.conf says in part:
- domain name The default domain to append to names
- that do not have a dot in them, and used
- in searches.

- On non-sun machines this seems to result in the domain not
- being appended if the name requested has a dot anywhere within it.
- On Suns the domain is appended always unless the last
- character in the name has a dot. Which is the correct interpretation?
- Both are useful. Is this a bug or a feature?
