  14. The man page for resolv.conf says in part:
  15. domain name         The default domain to  append  to  names
  16.                     that do not have a dot in them, and used
  17.                     in searches.
  18.  
  19. On non-sun machines this seems to result in the domain not
  20. being appended if the name requested has a dot anywhere within it.
  21. On Suns the domain is appended always unless the last
  22. character in the name has a dot. Which is the correct interpretation?
  23. Both are useful. Is this a bug or a feature?
