- Have you checked out xparty by Andrew Peebles, MIPS Computer Systems, here is
- a bit of the man page.

- xparty is a Motif-based X windows utility that allows multiple users
- on different displays to hold a ``conference call''. It takes after
- talk and xtalk, but allows more that two people to hold a
- conversation. It also allows static messages to be sent to remote
- displays.

- When xparty is invoked, the invoking user sees the ``originator''
- screen. When the originator initiates a conversation, users on the
- remote displays see the ``party'' screen. Both screen organizations
- are described in this document.
