- I had the same problem with ISC 2.x. The fixes available were:
- 1) User a slower speed. (a waste of a good modem)
- 2) Get a serial board with 16550 (if supported by the driver)
- 3) Replace the serial driver

- I went with #3 using fas 2.09. An excellent package that builds and installs
- better than most commercial packages. When I upgraded to rev 3 of unix it
- was no longer needed. I suspect if I were to load it now though, I may see
- some speed improvements over the native driver.
