- I have asked this before, but didn't get any information I could use.
- A friend has had a similar problem with his Unix machine, so this must
- be a more common problem. (I have looked in faqs and machine spacific
- docs on teh net and in manuals, but have not found anything of much
- value.) So here's the problem.

- I have the RS232 set up (under hardware setup) as modem, 2400 bps, no
- hardware flow control, answer only. The first time I set it up and
- called the system it worked fine, but as soon as the system receives a
- control-d or the exit command, the SD and RD lights come on and stay
- on. The system freezes. Now if it is called logged into and then
- hung up on (no logout) it will work fine the next call.
