  11. Does anyone out there have any software to help in assigning IP numbers?

  13. We have several people on campus who need to be able to quickly reserve an IP
  14. number when they go out to do installs/setup.  It would be ideal if we had some
  15. menu driven software that given information such as  building/location, machine
  16. type, etc  would quickly search through a database and reserve for you the next 
  17. available IP address.  Also, we keep information such  location, username,
  18. machine type, network software used, phone number, etc. for each IP assignment.

  20. I would like software to run on a SCO UNIX, NeXT, or VMS host but I'll take
  21. what I can get.

  23. If I cant find some preexisting software I am going to whip something up with
  24. INGRES or INFORMIX or INTEGRA  or whichever suits my fancy at the time but I
  25. thought mebbe someone out there could same me the time and trouble.
