  10.    I'm trying to set up UUCP between my work and home.  At work I have
  11. a Penril v.32 modem (with MNP) attached to a SUN sparcstation.  At home
  12. I have a PC running AT&T's sysvr4.2.1 with a Telebit T1600 v.32 (with
  13. MNP).  I can cu back and forth to each machine, but I can't seem to get
  14. either to uucp a file to the other.  I've combed O'Reilly, but I can't
  15. seem to find reference to my particular error message.  I'm not too
  16. familiar with the Penril modems (I'd much prefer a Telebit) so if 
  17. anyone could shed some light on the alarms, I'd appreciate it.  I'm 
  18. not sure if it has something to do with MNP and the 'g' protocol or
  19. with some sort of buffering that the Penril is doing.  Any help would
  20. be gratefully appreciated.
