- We are in the process of converting from TeX 2.1 :
-
- >This is Common TeX, Version 2.1 (no format preloaded)
- >LaTeX Version 2.09 - Released 27 October 1986
-
- to TeX 3.14:
-
- >This is TeX, C Version 3.14t3
- >LaTeX Version 2.09 <7 Dec 1989>
-
- (I know , Where HAVE we been...? :)
-
- Anyway we are nearly ready to go production but a faculty member
- has shown me a problem with hyphenation. It seems to do some strange
- stuff (of course the worst is it chose to hyphenate his last name ie "X-
- u" ... also "consist-s" , "pe-riod" ...) .
-
- Is there a fix for this?
-
- (The version of hyphen.tex is the same in all cases,
-
- >sumnls ./tex82/TeXmacros/hyphen.tex
- > 36323 28
- > 28 -r--r--r-- 1 root staff 27667 Jul 13 1984
-
- Is there a newer one? )
-
- Thanks for any help !
