- Oddly enough, I have found three program sets to be very useful:

- Under OS/2 I use the emtex package's texp.exe to create
- dvi files.

- I use either dvimswin.exe for preview or
- Y&Y's DviWindo (works very well, no need for .pk files)

- I run the editor in one window (Freemacs), shell out and
- run texp, and then have DviWindo running as well.

- Under Windows, I use either of the above two previewers along
- with the 8086 version of emtex's tex program.

- Granted, I use a 486/33, so speed isn't really a problem here.
