  11. The LaTeX book notes on page 184 that two \hlines commands in succession
  12. leave a space between the lines (of an array), and vertical rules
  13. produced by | characters in the `cols' argument do not appear in this
  14. space.
  15. I wish to override this feature and have the vertical lines appear in
  16. this space. I tried doing this with \vline but to no avail.
  17. Does anybody have an idea how to do it? Thanks very much
