  12. I have a problem concerning LaTeX and PicTeX.

  14. I use xfig to draw a picture and export it as PiTeX macro.

  16. So far, so good. it is also no problem to import it then using
  17. LaTeX \figure enviroments.

  19. My problem is now, that LaTeX puts the figure as a float where
  20. it thinks that there is a good place for it. Normally at the end of the
  21. current chapter. But I want to have the picture at the place where 
  22. it should be. Near to the reference of that picture.

  24. I use mathemathical symbols in the pictures, so I have to use PicTeX 
  25. and I also want to \ref the pictures on the report.

  27. Using a \mbox does it at the right place, but I can`t put a label in
  28. that \mbox.

  30. Has anyone a idea how I can fix that problem?
