  14. My experience has been that using the colour profiles is what causes so many 
  15. of the faults.  It's rather unfortunate, because it's a pleasant feature.
  16. But I've had to remove all of the color profiles in my group owing to all of
  17. the problems associated with them, and the number of SEGVs and BUSs has dropped
  18. virtually to nil since then.

  20. The other feature which seems to cause this is Revision Tracking, but it doesn't
  21. have nearly the same impact.  This is fortuante, since we can't afford to turn
  22. off Revision Tracking like the color profiles.

  24. We have 5.3.0 on SPARC and a few other platforms (mostly SPARC, as you might guess).
