-
- Say your old template is called OLD.frame.
-
- 1) Open two copies of OLD.frame, saving one to the name OLD1.frame.
-
- 2) Create a new template at the desired page size - save it with the name
- NEW.frame. Leave it open.
-
- 3) From within OLD.frame, "Use Formats From" NEW.frame, but only Page Layouts.
- This will give you the new page size, but will also copy in unwanted master
- items from OLD.frame, so delete those items from the master pages of NEW.frame.
-
- 4) Go to the master pages of OLD1.frame, and for each master page, "Select All"
- items, Copy, then go to OLD.frame and paste them onto the corresponding master
- pages to replace the master page items that got pulled in from NEW.frame.
-
- 5) Adjust columns on the master pages of OLD.frame as necessary to accommodate
- the new page sizes.
