- Hi,
- I hope this is the right group to answerr my questions:
-
- What are the most used word-processor programms for MS-DOS ? If you want to
- give away articles to people including information like boldface, italic and so
- on, what format should I use? In Germany a lot of people use MS-WORD, is it
- the same in USA? What about other countries? Is there a program to convert
- file-formats from WORD-PERFECT to WORD or the other way round (only to give
- an example, I am looking for other converters too).
-
- A lot of programs are now available in a special WINDOWS Version. Are these
- files exchangable between WINDOWS and non-WINDOWS Version?
-
- Finally I am afraid that the best solution is to use ordinary ASCII=Format
- that fits everywhere, but then I loose the ability to give texts a nice
- style - and no chance for footnotes. Any advice, hints?
-
- Thanks in advance
-
- Frank
