- Hello. I have one Zenith 16MHz 386 (DX) machine left in my lab. It
- has only the 640K RAM it was born with; I'd rather use an abacus than
- pay what Zenith wants for more memory for this machine :-). I upgraded
- another such machine to a 40 MHz 386 with a replacement motherboard with
- 4 Mb, and that worked out real well. But at the price of desktops now
- I can just about buy another machine for the price of the motherboard
- - *especially* if I can still use my 1490 monitor.
-
- So, what I want to do is buy another machine without monitor or floppies
- and use the ones I have. Does anyone know of any reason why I cannot
- just plug the card and 1490 monitor into a new machine?
-
- Please reply to this newsgroup or via email. I really appreciate any
- opinions/insights/experiences anyone is willing to share!

- Thank you,
