  14.     I am trying to determine the optimal number of transputers to use to solve
  15. a global optimization problem and was wondering:

  17.     1) How fast is a REAL32 multiplication?
  18.     2) What is the time required to send a message?  Lets say the message has
  19.        1, 10, or 100 32 bit real numbers in it.
