  21. If you run format, just specify type "other" It will ask you some
  22. questions. You should answer data cylinders 2105, alternate cylinders
  23. 2, heads 15, data sectors/track 87, RPM 3600,
  24. disk name "Wren 8 ST41650N".

  26. Go to the partition menu and punch in your numbers. I use
  27. partition use    start    length     approx size
  28. b      swap     0     51/0/0        32 megs
  29. c    (entire) 0    2105/0/0
  30. h    /aurora1 0    2054/0/0    1300 megs

  32. By convention, partition c is where you keep a record of how big the disk is.
  33. It's not usually mounted. Although people who just need on big partition
  34. often newfs /dev/rsd?c and use it. Parition a is usually used for root
  35. paritions, b for swap, and g for /usr. h often is where folks put a /home
  36. partition.
