- I'm trying to find information about keyboards for SPARCstations
- that are less painful than the standard type-4 keyboard.
- Lots of people I work with find the type-4 horribly painful,
- and would love to have something more comfortable.
-
- We've tried to hook up a type-3 keyboard using sun's adapter
- cable and a gender changer, but the system doesn't recognize
- the keyboard ("No Keyboard Detected" on power-up) and the
- mouse doesn't light up.
-
- So far, the only other solutions we've come up with are the Type-101
- keyboard that Sun Select sells for $350/ea (ouch!) but we're hesitant
- to buy one without somebody saying "Hey, my wrists don't hurt
- anymore" or somesuch thing.
-
- So, if you've used one of the 101 keyboards, or you know of
- somebody else selling replacement keyboards for Suns, I'd
- love to hear from you.
