- hi,
-
- We have a project which was written on ULTRIX RISC (BSD) and based on
- SQL (Ingres) ,DEC C++ and DEC MOTIF , now we are willing
- to port this software to a SunoS system ,so here come some questions
- to who ever has experience in this domain:
-
- 1)which potential problems could be risen from such port ?
-
- 2)what are the alternatives available on SunOS to the ingres SQL
- implementation (price/differences),are they compatible .
-
- 3)Same question for C++ .is C++ available on SunOS ,if yes is it based
- from the ATT version ?,what is the price.
-
- 4)Which version of MIT X11 does openwindow supports, and what are the usual
- problems meet when using a motif application and display its on a Sun
- system.
-
- Thanks
