- Your system is configured for a certain maximum number of processes,
- and you've reached that limit.

- Try increasing the value of 'maxusers' in your kernel config file, and then
- rebuild your kernel. If you're using the default kernel from Sun, then
- maxusers may be something rather low like 4 or 8. A more realistic value
- would be 64 or so. Increasing the value of 'maxusers' will make a number of
- the kernel's internal data structures larger, including the process table.
