- I've been experiencing a strange problem for a long time now but never
- did both me enough to ask until now. I have 2 ways to signon to our Sun
- in my office, via the console or via my PC using CUTCP's telnet. I find
- that sometimes, if I signon using my PC's telnet after I log off the
- Sun, it keeps my console windows' dimensions (hence many columns and rows)
- and I'll have to 'stty rows 24; stty columns 80' to set things back. But
- most of the time, this doesn't happen. I would signon using my CUTCP's
- telnet in vt100 mode just fine, even after using the console for Sunview
- or Openwindows. But sometimes, it just keeps my window dimensions and
- things goes off my screen on the PC when I do a 'more' because it thinks
- I have a lot more rows and columns than I acutally do. I can't find a
- pattern to this and I don't know where to look. We are using SunOS 4.1.1
- on a Sparc 4/260. Any ideas? Thanks.

- Thomas.
