  28.    This problem is in the OW3.0 X11/NeWS server and has been reported to Sun.  
  29.    The Sun bug id# is 1076332.

  31.    Tools using the HP Motif 1.1 library hang for 15 minutes when they attempt
  32.    to connect to the server supplied with OpenWindows 3.0.  This problem does 
  33.    not occur with the MIT X11R4 server or the OpenWindows 2.0 X11/NeWS server.

  35.    Setting the following resource in the X11/NeWS server will resolve
  36.    this problem:

  38.       <client>*useColorObj: false
  39.  
  40.    NOTE: This workaround is not supported.  It may cease to prevent the
  41.          problem in the future.

  43.    If the SAIC VUE product is also being used under OpenWindows 3.0, this
  44.    resource may cause the VUE colors to behave incorrectly on any tool for
  45.    which the useColorObj resource was set to "false".  Therefore it is
  46.    recommended that this resource only be set in the OpenWindows 3.0 X11/NeWS
  47.    server and only for those tools which are using the HP Motif1.1 library
  48.    AND are displayed on the OpenWindows 3.0 X11/NeWS server (until Sun
  49.    provides a patch to fix this bug).

  52.    You can get VUE running natively on Sun (under the X11/NeWS or MIT servers)
  53.    from SAIC (Science Applications Internaltional Corp) in San Diego CA.
