- Anyone out there with experiences running AT&T System V on a SUN Sparc? I
- don't even know if it's possible to get AT&T Sys V for a Sparc, but if
- it is, I'd like to know: 1-how to get it, 2-how much it costs, and
- 3-has someone else tried it?
-
- Before you start asking "why in the world...!?" just let me tell you that
- I work at a research lab, and we like to try new things. Yeah, yeah, I know
- Solaris 2 is supposed to be coming soon and it's Sys V, and we will be
- upgrading to it eventually. I'm just trying to get some information so I
- can give all the available options to the people who make decisions here.
-
- So if anyone has or is running AT&T instead of SunOS on a Sparc, or if
- you know positively that you can or can't get the system software in the
- first place, I'd be interested in hearing about it. Reply by post or email.
- Thanks in advance...
