- So Sun will no longer be supplying a bundled C compiler. In some respects
- I can understand the logic, though I do not necessarily share the sentiments.

- There has been a lot of traffic concerning the above, but I haven't seen the
- following point (problem?) highlighted.

- Has anyone noted that some applications are distributed in 'pseudo' source
- form; they (hush tones!) *compile* segments of code before the application
- is ready to run. More often than not they use 'cc' to perform the task.

- What are the vendors of such products going to do? Put up the price of the
- application to include a C compiler? Redesign the product?
