- I recently installed a DEC DSP-3085 it's an 850MByte internal spinning
- at 5400rpm's. It works fine now and it's fast, I get full 5Mbyte/s
- transfer on the local SCSI-Bus. I had some initial trouble though as
- the shipped firmware Rev wasn't up to date with Suns SCSI-protocol, a
- new rev has taken care of it. I think IBM and HP have similar drives
- that go up to 1GBbyte. Be careful to check out the power-dissipation,
- the IPX case may get quite hot, especially when stacked with other
- devices,
