- You're assuming wrong. The IPX does not have a local bus. (This bus
- would be the MBus, if any.) All SPARCstations have a lot of on-board
- peripherals that are on the SBus. Mostly slot 0 (watch the boot messages).

- The IPC and the IPX have also an on-baord SBus "slot" 2. The IPC has
- a mono framebuffer "in" this "slot", the IPX uses it for the on-board
- GX framebuffer.

- The only way to get more interconnect speed would be to put a framebuffer
- on the MBus of the 600MP or the SS10.
