The system is only a few months old and came with a Seagate 424 drive. The errors didn't show up until after I attached a Hitachi DK516C-16 as sd1. The Hitachi came from a Novell fileserver, and it formatted with no problems. At first I thought perhaps I had a bad scsi cable between the cpu and the Hitachi, so I replaced it, but when I came in the next morning, the errors were back.
I am a novice when it comes to scsi matters, so any advice/comments would be appreciated.
