  15. We have a client here, which I just set up a Sun4c-IPX for, who
  16. has an Alphatronix INSPIRE magneto-optical drive which uses 5.25
  17. 650MB (~300 each side) rewritetable cartridges.  They have these
  18. scsi devices hooked up to a PC or something now.  When I called
  19. Alphatronix about hooking it up to the Sun, they said it would
  20. cost over $1,000 for the software utilites, a new eprom (prom?)
  21. and the scsi cable.

  23. Does this sound reasonable, does anyone know of an alternative
  24. way.  They just want to archive weather information on these and
  25. they don't have the money to pay for something like this.
