  14. Need help on locating libc_pic.a that contains missing symbols;
  15. dlopen
  16. dlclose
  17. dlsystem

  19. When I rebuilt the shared lib- libc.so.1.7 so that I could include
  20. routines for BIND, everything went fine except now when I use
  21. 'cc/ld' I get undefined symbol warning as listed above.
  22.  
  23. We have discovered that this problem appears to only exist on
  24. the Sun4 arch.  No problems have been seen with Sunm or Sun4c.
  25.  
  26. Any help greatly appreciated in advance...
  27. Is there an FTP site for 4.1.2 patches, and fixes such as
  28. sun-fixes/sun-dist.

  30. I need to get an updated libc_pic.a for my shared lib builds.
  31.  
  32. Also, any ideas how to get a .so lib back to .a?
