  14. we currently are accessing arcinfo on a remote sun sparc 4.1.1 file server
  15. via telnet sessions on PC's (using Hummingbird Xceedp and Pc-nfs) and 
  16. tektronix Xp27 tekXpress, and sun remote workstations. We currently run
  17. sunview on the sun workstations, and openwindo 2.0 on the pc's and tektronix's.

  19. We plan to setup XDM instead of telnet for the teks and pc's, then upgrade later
  20. to openwindows 3.0.

  22. Could anybody out there with experience on similar setups give us
  23. pointer, caveates, examples, warnings on problems ecountered and solutions.

  25. What can/will break when XDM goes up? when openwin 3.0 goes up?
  26. what do we need to start changing/prepare to change?
