  23. The first question is... why are you trying to install this software in the
  24. root partition.  It should be installed somewhere on /usr, or on another disk
  25. you have attached to the IPX.  It should not go in /.

  27. Also, you can't move /, without causing problems with how your system will
  28. boot.  I can guarentee that id you move the files in root the system will
  29. not boot.

  31. Don't move /, move the software you want to install.
