  11. Thanks to all who e-mailed me responses. It seems that the tried and
  12. proven method is to partition the new disk appropriately and then
  13. with the original disk as sd0 and the new disk as sd1, mount the
  14. partitions from the new drive in /mnt, or some other mount point,
  15. and then:

  17. /etc/dump 0f - /dev/rsd0a | (cd /mnt; /etc/restore xf -)
