- servo error probably means a hardware problem. If anything can
- fix it short of having the drive repaired, it would be issuing
- the SCSI format command (which will also wipe the disk). Past
- experience with this drive says that you almost certainly have
- a chip problem on the drive electronics, and the format won't
- help, at least, not for long.
