- Sorry, I couldn't fit all my question into the Subject title. What I would like
- to do is that have someone to do backup for me through the network. I know if
- I put in /.rhosts file a line with the other machine's name, they can rsh to
- my machine to do backups. But this will give out the root privilege of this
- machine. Can 'sudo' be used in this case?
-
- BTW, my machine is a SGI workstation, which uses 'bru' to do backup. And the
- other machine is SparcStation II which uses 'dump'. Is there any problem to
- backup both of them on the same tape(8 mm)?
-
- Thanks in advance.
