- Yes, I'm positive that I've never installed the resolver libraries
- on the system in question. If you check out "man 3 resolver", you will find
- documentation on the resolver functions with a final note at the end that
- you need to use /usr/lib/libresolv.a in order to get them. The system was
- installed from a CD-ROM which claims to be SunOS 4.1.1 Rev B and a Revision
- A January 1991 on the back of the jewel case.

- I've heard rumors in the past that there might be more then one
- version of 4.1.1 CD-ROM. This was with reference to the /usr/etc/fuser
- command which some people don't seem to get on their system even if they ask
- for everything to be installed. (I certainly don't seem to have it on my
- system.)
